Easiest way to get rid of the wing?
Easiest way to get rid of the wing?
Well my baby is gone (06' red ss/sc)a old guy ran a redlight and plowed into the passenger side and caved it in.Poor car.I'd post pics but my phone flew across the car and hit the windshield and messed up.But i'm going to pick up a 06' Orange SS/SC this weekend
and I was just wondering whats the easiest way to plug up the wing holes when I take the wing off but to where I could always put it back on if I want?

you could just get some carriage bolts and unbolt the wing and put those in, obviously the rounded head flush on the trunk then just clean off the tape/blemishes and paint the heads of the bolts if you want. or go to a shady high-powered car wash
lol thats what i did for the front licence plate mount. I had one but wasnt in a province that requires it, wanted to take the mount off but didnt know what to do about the holes. That same week i got into a accident and the women that hit me, her insurence company paid for a new front bumper with no plate mount. Long with a stock h/e that had a small leak in it, due to the accident the leak got worse and they replaced that too. Accidents work wonders when u want something new on the car...lol.
That Orange is probably going to be right around the Red. I pay right around $80/qt for the Vic Red.
I did my buddys WRX for about $20. Some extra metal, sand paper, a couple OZ of prime, base, clear.
Unless you have a shop to do the welds and repaint the trunk, its not a cheap mod. Even though its seriously a couple little holes.
