Easiest way to remove taillights?

I bought the niteshade to paint my taillights, however...I am not sure how to remove the outside lights?

I am sure it wouldn't be hard to figure out, but I figured it would just be easier to ask, maybe get a couple trciks from someone who has done it...do I have to remove the rear carpet or the little hooks holding the net?

Thanks

k buddy listen here.

take those black plastic hooks off that hold up the back net thing. they come off but it takes a little while. pull the carpetting back. then get a 10mm socket and take the other two nuts off and BAM your set, push on the inside to pop them out. i actually did this last night so i know all about it. for the trunk ones pop the plastic piece off unscrew the nuts and make sure to move those pins which keep it in there. and push out.

not to mention take the blubs out by screwing one way or the other.

I think he is asking how to take the whole assembly out of the car. I'm pretty sure it is just a few bolts from the inside of the trunk.
