effed up my car watching fireworks

well, I thought i would be a good brother and take my younger sister to see some fireworks here in Frisco so we went out on an adventure in the cobalt. Everyone was out in their trucks and SUVs up on the grass, so I found a place where I could back up the curb without damage to my car (or so I thought) because I saw other, lower riding cars, up on the curb. So I backed in about 1/2 way with no problem, but once I got to the front wheels, the splash gaurds caught the curb and pretty much fell off oh well, but my question is if I can get the clips from my dealer that will attach these back on? I would go without them, but the flaps are attached to the plastic around the wheel well, and that seems important. RIght now they drag on the ground....grrr

Just ditch the splash guards man... the inner wheel wells are easy to get out... no worries.

Sorry to hear about the splash guards! that sucks!

Unfortunately I don't know but so rarely see DFW folks had to say howdy.

they are easy to remove, but is it bad for the car to remove these. It seems that they would keep mud and water away.

Ditch the splash guards or "Mud Flaps".

You can get new clips from the dealer, I had to for mine after the rust proofing monkeys got done ripping my car apart.

You can also remove the mudflaps by just cutting them off the bottom of the inner fender well. Theres a line there for the SS's where you just cut it so it doesnt interfere with the body kit. If you're gonna remove them for looks do that and keep the inner wells...
