I have never seen autozone install anything but batteries and wipers and i wouldnt let them touch it, there are to many nutjobs that work there.

the engine cover... unscrew the oil cap and lift up... now the plastic cover in the vary front that the airbox is atached to wont come off... but the big piece w/ the ecotec logo should just pull off after you take the oil cap off

it snaps off, also it might help to unscrew the cap where you put in your oil.. it comes off fairly easy.

Sorry to rip ya on this one... but if you're that scared about modding the car... and aren't mechanicly inclined enough to figure out how to remove the engine cover... you don't really have any business modding at all.

Seriously though... just take it one step at a time... get yourself a good metric ratchet set... that's the main thing you'll need. The intakes on the 2.2/2.4 are really easy to do... you could do it yourself with a few hours of time. I wouldn't pay to have any shop put on the basic stuff... they'll probably screw it up anyways... and charge you an assload.

^^ That's funny. I'm 26, 27 next month. There's a lot of guys on here that are 30s, 40s which I think is very cool.

Welcome and have fun.
