Question Engine cover????

does anyone make an engine cover.... because i put my injen cai on tonight and it looks super dumb with the engine cover on and with the engine cover off... please let me know thanks

I vote to leave it off and then polish or powdercoat the valve cover will like 100 times better

+1..That was the first thing I did to my Balt, I took off that huge plastic cover off. I have my Injen intake on, without the cover and it looks pretty good to me.

I agree with everyone else, you just have to bring the rest of your engine up to spec. Polishing the valve cover will be a great first step and it's easy. It just takes time and elbow grease.

look at modern performance.com ...they have powder coated valve covers if thats what ur looking for!

I polished the valve cover, wrapped the hoses in aluminum sleeves and painted the engine cover and fuse cover the color of the car. It looks good now on and off.

I got it powder coated and there are a couple of blemishes where you tried to polish it but it isn't very noticeable. I am just waiting on a new valve cover gasket because when it was powder coated I had to remove the one that was on it before hand and it didnt want to come out easily. I wouldve liked to be able to keep in on the cover and reuse it but with having to put the cover in an oven at 400+ degrees for several hours it wouldve melted it. I will hopefully be able to do the install this weekend and post some pics.
