Engine looms

Some people on here changed their hoses in their engine to different colors. I would like to do the same. Those who have done it, could you please tell me what sizes I need for all the hoses? Also I'm ordering from Streetglow, has anyone else ordered from them? Is there a better place to order from?

That's actually what I'm looking for where you just fit it around. Not really looking to actually pull all the plugs outta my engine, and replace.

Don't do it, Please...

In your mind, you will think it looks good, but often, the more crap you do to your engine that is useless and cosmetic, will just look like RICE at the end of the day.

If in his mind it looks good, then who are you to tell him its not? It's not your car. If in his mind it looks good and he likes it, well then thats all that matters.

Thank you. There are a few on here who have done it. I've seen. And it don't look too bad. Quit being bullies.

And how exactly it it "race inspired"?? It's just a change of color of the hoses.... Nothing "racing" about it. Hey, the engine's gotta look good for car shows right? No one wants to look at a boring stock looking engine bay. Gotta spruce it up a bit.

ive never done it so i dont know the sizes or anything but i think i have seen colored wire loom at autozone, pepboys, etc. that might be easier than ordering it if you can get the right sizes.

i'm not feeling it personally, but if you have to add color, paint some things tastefully, or replace a few vacuum lines with colored silicone hose, carefully.

It's my opinion that split loom only looks good when used very, VERY conservatively. If you really like it, knock yourself out. If you're doing it because you've seen it on cardomain, save your money.

Yes but not everyone has the same opinion. Everyone has their own opinion and that if they want to do something to their car, it's in their own taste. Sure not everyone will like it, but whats important is that the owner him self likes it.

I like to change everything that's stock. I prefer to look different as to be an individual rather than stock like everyone else.

I'm sure the original thread starter doesn't care what you think looks good.

Personally I'm not a fan of the wire loom stuff but if it's your thing knock yourself out. Take pics and let us know how it turns out.

Rice is a matter of opinion and your opinion is ****. So what would we call that?

Rice is so old it is not even funny. Let's see your car, and I'll find stuff that is rice to me. However, you would think it is not rice.
