Engine looms
Engine looms
Some people on here changed their hoses in their engine to different colors. I would like to do the same. Those who have done it, could you please tell me what sizes I need for all the hoses? Also I'm ordering from Streetglow, has anyone else ordered from them? Is there a better place to order from?
Like?

Don't do it, Please...
In your mind, you will think it looks good, but often, the more crap you do to your engine that is useless and cosmetic, will just look like RICE at the end of the day.

If in his mind it looks good, then who are you to tell him its not? It's not your car. If in his mind it looks good and he likes it, well then thats all that matters.
Your Looped if you think your statement is required. Everyone goes through the RICE FAZE, it's a waste of time and it will look like ass...
And how exactly it it "race inspired"?? It's just a change of color of the hoses.... Nothing "racing" about it. Hey, the engine's gotta look good for car shows right? No one wants to look at a boring stock looking engine bay. Gotta spruce it up a bit.

i believe you are correct lol.
It's my opinion that split loom only looks good when used very, VERY conservatively. If you really like it, knock yourself out. If you're doing it because you've seen it on cardomain, save your money.

Yes but not everyone has the same opinion. Everyone has their own opinion and that if they want to do something to their car, it's in their own taste. Sure not everyone will like it, but whats important is that the owner him self likes it.
I like to change everything that's stock. I prefer to look different as to be an individual rather than stock like everyone else.
Ick, not for me. I prefer my engine looking plain Jane. I just have a few polished bits.........my AEM CAI, my Ingalls ETD, my Modern Performance polished oil filler cap........I also have a GM body color matched hood strut. I kept it plain and simple and I thought it came out looking sweet.

Well no duh, hence why I was stating what I thought looked good.
I'm sure the original thread starter doesn't care what you think looks good.
Personally I'm not a fan of the wire loom stuff but if it's your thing knock yourself out. Take pics and let us know how it turns out.
