The ONLY logical explaination is that there is a homeless guy that usually sleeps on the wing mistaking it for a park bench ok? Well there is another heavier homeless guy that has gotten jealous of his luxury over the years and one night came home from the little ceasars dumpster early with a more empty belly than usual just so he could beat the "regular" hobo to his bench. Upon laying down on it he realized it is more brittle when frozen and that he weighs more than the hobo that usually sleeps there, and the whole thing just broke sending him into a deep state of depression.

Only explanation...just sayin

I would bet on either of these. The park bench wing is floppy as hell, I can imagine how little it would take to snap it off when it gets cold and brittle.....
