Eurodezigns Headlights

Anyone have these before? I just bought some off eBay yesterday. They haven't come yet, and I was wondering exactly what they're going to look like. The pictures they had showed a light that looked blue. My question is will I actually see a difference in color with these bulbs as compared to the stock bulbs? I really want that blue color.

sounds like some cheap ass bulbs to me that'll probably only last a month or so.. i could be wrong thou. why not just get you some projectors and a hid kit..? you can have the blue color with an 8000k hid kit and still be able to see..

I'd like to get an HID conversion kit...they look pretty simple and easy to install, but I have no clue where I would put that big box that comes with each light. I've also looked at some projectors with halos...and I'm not sure about those either. I'm not too knowledgeable about cars. I would want something that I just plug it in and go. I don't want to have to special wire anything. If I got projectors, they would be on at the same time as the halos...and then you really wouldn't be able to see the halos.

well you can get the third gen or first gen halo lights and just not wire the halos up so they wouldnt come on at all. as for the ballast that comes with the hids (the box you were talkin bout), you just take the headlight bucket out and mount it to the bottom side of it.. hids are very simple. but if you want simple plug and play with the projectors then the second gen ccfl's are plug and play but even with the lights on you can still see the halos from a long ways cuz they are so bright.

Can you send me some links of these 2nd gens ccfls that you're talking about? I like chrome background since that's what I have now (stock) and it looks good. Headlight bucket? What exactly is this? (I told you I'm not very knowledgeable lol)

Well I have those bulbs coming in. If they're not what I'm looking for, I can always send them back and get my money back. What would be better between some halo/projectors or HID conversion kit? I want a nice blue color...basically what the new Corvettes have.

Ok...so the picture you have there, those are plug and plays? If they are, that would mean when I turn my headlights on, the ring and the light inside the ring (the projector light correct?) will come on? What about that LED bar on top? When does that come on? Why would I want to do HID with this? Aren't these already bright enough? Also, will they appear blue?

the bar above the lights are ccfl too. but it comes on wit the lights also. they wont appear blue at all.. projectors themselves help out a lil but to get the full effect and color you want you'll have to do hids with them.

I had the red ones...they lasted about 3-4 months. Could see the tint but it's not hugely red. Doubt it will be heavily blue.

Ok....so let me see if I'm understanding this fully. Say I bought those halo/projectors...I get the plug and play so all I have to do is remove the stock housing, and replace with the new ones. Then to get the blue look that I'm looking for, I buy a HID conversion kit and the bulb that comes with the HID will go into the light that's inside the halo. Is this correct so far?

yes your correct so far.. but the hid kit you will need wont be the same size bulb that goes in the factory housings. if you go first gen or third gen you'll need a h1 hid kit and if you get the second gen ccfl's you'll need a h7 hid kit.. for the blue your lookin for get a 8000k hid kit.

Ok...I think I'm getting the hang of this haha. I want the second generation because I've read those the only true plug and plays....I don't want to have to wire anything...just simply plug it in. Ok...so with the projectors hooked up, where do I plug the HID kit into?

the connector that plugs into the low beam bulb.. the wires that go to the ballast of the hids plug into the low beam wires then go to the ballast then come back to the hid bulb that will go in the projector lens. make sure you get a plug and play hid kit also. they will be much easier for you to install. some try to say that you have to have a relay on the hids but thats just others opinion.. i have the plug and plays and they work great. btw the install on the hids i just told you is for the plug and play hid kit.

So I would buy the projector kit as plug and play, and I would also buy the HID kit as plug and play. So that's two plugs. Isn't there only one plug coming from the car? I guess that's where I'm a little confused as to how I would hook all this up correctly haha.

yeah your right bout there only bein on plug comin from the car. the projectors have a plug that will go to the one from the car, which is a single like you said, then splits to go to the low and high beams of the new headlights since it has two seperate lens for low and high beam. you'll just unplug and remove the low beam bulb then apply the install how to i gave you for the hids.

but im bout to hit the bed man.. send me a pm and we'll finish this tomorrow. if possible i'll try to draw you up somethin and send it to you so its easier to understand what im sayin.

Thx , yea I bought them a wile back and that color blue in HID is called 6000k its white with a light tint of blue if you want pure blue go with 8000k but 6000k gives you more light out put then the 8000k but the 8000k is more blue like pure blue but less light out put.

Yeah...As you can tell...I've been thinking about getting some projectors/halos with an HID kit. Everything has to be plug and play because I really have no clue what I'm doing haha. I saw a 10000k kit that looked sweet...they were really blue.
