Remember.....the higher the Kelvin rating on an HID kit, the more blue the light and the less light you will see on the road. A good kit to go with is no higher then 6000K. That way you get a slight blue look, but you still get great light output on the road.

I am in love with those Halo lens/look. Is there something like this available for the 2008/2009 SS Coupes?

What would I need to get the Halo look? What does HID have to do with it. Are the Halos and HID mutually exclusive? Do I need both of them?

You need Halo projectors for a cobalt then you need a to match the bulb type for the HIDs, for my halos they take H1 bulbs so I had to get a H1 HID kit. You need the projectors before the kit for max light performance and putting in HIDs in stock housing is just rice and pissed me off when I'm blinded by them going down the road.

Projectors don't blind people

I like the 2nd gens the best. With projectors, is there anything that says you have to buy an HID kit? Or is it that if you don't buy an HID kit, the only light you will get from the projectors will be the halo rings?

If you want Bi-Xenon HID headlights let me know. I have them for ~$200. Otherwise I recommend using Nokya Arctic Whites for ~$30.

no they will come with halogens.....but the hid kit (6000k or 8000K) will give you the blue look....

well you could justify it by telling yourself you are increasing safety by increasing nighttime visibility

Haha...yeah that's a good point! I figured out that it would cost around $240 for everything. Maybe I can buy the HID kit first...it might ease the pain if I don't buy it all at once haha. We'll see!

Alright...I ended up buying some 2nd gen projector headlights. They should be here by Wednesday. I'll post some pictures later on when they're installed.

There's the link if anyone's interested. Great price and true plug n play. I can't wait!
