Evo Mod Chipping..

So i finished the evo mod about a week ago and finished it right before it got dark. With classes in the morning, i never got around to waxing it (not sure how much that would have helped) and tonight when i went to wax it, you can see where rocks have kicked up and hit it. There are many little dot size chips in it that are all the way down to the red. Looks like i am going to have to respray the whole thing but it is pointless if it will keep happening. Anyone else have this problem? How can i avoid this? I used 4 coats of the most expensive plastic paint i could find, and 2-3 coats of clear.

Either vinyl, or repaint plus clear coat. Or plastidip.

Not much prep. Cleaned very good, taped, and painted. I was stuck on whether or not i should sand.. but i decided not to, hoping the plastic paint would hold. Guess not.

Eh, not sure what they could do now that it's done.

plasti-dip is an amazing product lol
If you dont know what it is its like a spray "rubber" type material that when dries is flat black. If you want gloss I guess you could do a couple layers of that... wouldnt look bad but its a real durable product

Plasti-Dip is where its at. Easiest thing to do and if you don't like it you can take it right off.

paint chipping? really? maybe because you covered a factory paint job with cheap spray paint. if you do it, do it right and get it done at a body shop
