its sad lol superSS will back me up but alot of SRT-4s run this vortex generator and it looks horrible... even if it looked good on a cobalt, ud get flamed on every time somone saw it

yup vortex generator, i got one for my EVO, it reduces drag by creating a swirl affect with the air passing thru it.

i thought it increased downforce by making the air flow over the wing better. if im correct the vortex generator actually lowers the topspeed by a few mph=increased drag

nope, it is for reducing drag on the top of the car, making it more aerodynamic

that little wing on the roof is what sends downforce to the big wing...the vortex genenator just splices air so car can glide at higher speed(meaning more slick)

this looks bad on the cobalt... IMO... And it cant do that much performance wise. It looks really good on a more "boxy" car like the evo or STI. A cobalt's lines are nice and smooth. This just ruins that,
