well ******* me wrecked my car today and i busted my aftermarket halo headlights. i was wondering if it would be possible to salvage the projector out of these? anybody experimented with this?

 

What for, gonna use it as a lamp in your room? they're not very good projectors. If you're gonna do a retrofit, just get a set of morimotos. Would be easier to install anyways.

 

i got a couple ideas for stuff i could use them for. i was just wondering if it was possible to extract them. im not ****** with my stock headlights. there the only backup set i got

 

Yes it is possible, you just need to open up the headlights using a heat gun or the oven, pull the bezels off and remove the projectors, there are usually only held in by either screw or clips that allow them to be adjusted. Either way it is possible.

 

haha well... removing the face on the drivers headlihgt... yeahhh. its pretty much smashed. lol not gonna take much to take it off.
