the tjin trunk for the sedan i have brought up before but dont think the interest was there and as for the duck bill trunk lip if we made that i dont think anybody would buy the tjin trunks anymore or did you mean a different style?

 

Something along the lines of the picture below. This would be a cheaper alternative to the full tjin trunk. Less material, less labor, etc.

As for interest in a sedan trunk, I believe if you reached on the cobalt FB pages you could grab enough interest to do a group buy kind of how you did back in the day with the coupe trunks. How many people would you need? 50?

 

While I know my ideas are out there and a bit different, possibly too expensive for the market, I'm still going to say them being a guy who loves exterior styling lol

-A unique and stylish lip kit (front lip, side skirts, rear lip)
-Front lip options
-APR Mirror plates
-RB/Contemporary Style widebody
-Car specific side skirt extensions, splitters, diffuser.

 

to do a groupbuy on a new part usually we would need at least 25+ people and as far as the wing i think that is very doable but i believe alot of people were just doing the ebay m3 wings back in the day?

As far as a unique lip kit i dont see many ss peoople swapping out or using different lips other than maybe a different front lip style or material and we used to make a widebody kit for the cobalt but it was definately EXTREME lol

 

Yeah people were using the M3 lip, but I guess people would like a specific trunk one made for their cars, or just the 'tjin' add on. However I feel like that would take business away from the full tjin trunk.

Very true on the lip kit, but no one has made a good looking one yet, so I know people wan to have something a bit more aggressive yet not too much to make it look crazy.

Was that the DTM style one?? I think a contemporary RB style WB would be sweet, but Im a crazy and like that **** lol

 

oh ok makes sense and yes the widebody was super crazy and wild 90s style widebody kit

 

I still think the "duck" tail style trunk lip would be hit and would sell if you guys can sell it for a reasonable price

 

I agree on a lip something a little more aggressive but not extreme.

Its interior but a real CF interior set I think people would be interested in.

If not, for exterior the time attack cf front lip would be another alternative. cf mirror caps, different cf lip options for rear.

 

we dont do any interior products and small parts like mirror caps are hard and we dont really do either...mostly bigger parts like hoods wings trunks etc

 

Lol you know my request..... A carbon fiber sedan trunk.😎😉
