eye lids

Alright guys i am going nuts! lol.. and getting little ticked off.. I am working on doing my Eylids on my ss.. SO i clean up the lights ect.. Sanded down the spots that i taped off, and then clear coated them.. After that I got my matched paint for my car, and sprayed it on. Some spots caught reall well. while others just started to droop, and make huge spots and just waterfall off the lights.. grr.. so its all messed up now.. any ideas?

Sand it down, use some strong paint thinner, and try again...?

VERY important! You need to paint between 60 and 80 degrees with low humidity, lite coats.

Yea, that's what it sounded like. Paint first then clear. more clears will stick to paint than paint stick to clears... or something.

yep pwned..

SO if you cleared before paint then you did it backwards.

Sand it all off, paint it with 2 or 3 coats, then clear 2 or 3 coats. Wait ahile between coats of course.

Also gotta make sure you're using the same type of clear as you are paint. If you use a laquer based clear with a latex based paint you're never gonna get them to mix, one is just gonna destroy the other.
