most eye lids are made from vinyl, and since vinyl is only available in common colors

black, white, red, yellow, silver, but no orange is avalable for sunburst orange cobalts

i am curious what owners of sunbust orange colored cobalt have done for eye-lids

reply with pictures would be nice

 

Option I went with was to cut up a set of headlight covers painted to match, can also be removed if needed

 

I just taped mine of and masked them then painted them on

 

painted is a good option, looks like you also tinted the headlights too, am i right

 

No lenses are clear but the housing is gloss black

 

its very nice, i like the dark effect, love your lights they are nice

but still need to see, some sunburst orange

 

you can get some vinyl thats sunburst orange. just try and find a sign and graphics shop. there is a local place around me that does all the custom window stickers and they have just about any color you want even color changing vinyl. you just have to look. but best place is a sign or graphics shop. pretty cheap too probably run you like five bucks a piece

 

well i finnally got her done, i opted for painted to get a more accurate match

i also had the lights tinted, then applyed 3 coats of clear

 

Did u want them like that or did u mess up on them because they look diff from the rest?
