Eyelids 56k=meltdown

I finally broke down and took pics of my car. (see lazy@ dictionary.com) I made these eyelids myself because i think other ones suck. I put them on myself as well. So in light of that your opinions please, have at it Johnny Blazes.

Are you gay?

Dopey eyelids look stupid...and my black cobalt looked ******* nice thank you.

A lot of heart and soul went into that car.

No it is not as fast as my tuned LNF...but there is more than fast, I wish people on this forum would get that.

well i thought about actually experimenting with it and trying for a more aggressive look and then when i got it actually painting it rather. I like the look i got out of it thought its aggressive and flows very well with the car and doesn't make it look like it just popped some vicadin

Didn't buy them i made them. All the other eyelids i saw sucked and i don't like cars that look like they are on dopamine. They are made out of the same type of sticker vinyl that you see on your signs at stores like a budweiser sign same type of material the stuff holds up pretty well in crappy michigan weather so i figured it would look quality and maintain durability.

they look really good! you did a grate job.

you think it can hold up to FL's tropical storms and hurricanes with 30+mph winds and rain? lol

if so I just have someone custom make some vinyl eye lids for me, I agree with you with the pre made eye lids make your car look stoned.

You could probably do them yourself with enough patience and ingenuity. I made a template first out of budweiser base wrap (the paper stuff that goes around displays). Then i laid the template out on the backside of the vinyl stuff used a razor blade and a pair of scissors. Cut out more then you need apply lightly balance and perfect smooth it out getting rid of air bubbles and then cut accordingly. Trust me I am a very very picky person when it comes to making sure stuff lines up and looks good especially on my car, so it was crucial to me that i get them balanced and so they don't look cockeyed or crooked surprisingly enough i got them both right on in the first attempt i almost s*it myself it went together so well. Usually the only time something that i try to do comes out right is when im **** drunk.

I thought about do it i didn't take pics as i was doing though and i already threw the "template" away. Doesn't mean i can't do it again i just have to find the quick 15 mins to redo it.

not sure why you used a template, when i did my eyelids the line was a 100% straight line that just followed the curve of the light. all you have to do is stick it on, squeegee it out and trim the backside of the light.

not quite a picture of the lights, but you can see how similar they were
