eyelids pic thread!!!

Im painting my headlights black and Im going to do eyelids on them, but I want my car to look mean, not tired or stoned, lol I think Ive seen one black cobalt on here with the eyelids that made the car look mean, and it had SS in kool lettering on ther grill, I want to do something like that I think, I think Ive only seen the pic a while ago for a second, so post your pics if you have eyelids, I want to see what I can do.

I did a search look for an eyelid pic thread and didnt find one, soo here it is I guess,

Post the pics of your eyelids!!!! EVERYONE!!! =)

There is actually a headlight sticky thread in the appearance section you guys should check out.

But honestly i am interested in this too. I cant decide between painting on eyelids or using a vinyl.

I also would like to see different ways that people did their eyelids, cause I just painted my headlights, and now want a thinner looking headlight.

Although it's hard to see mine because of the lighting and the dark tint of my lights, here is a pic. I personally love them.

Hey Ryuu600, do you have any closer pics of your headlights. I like the shape of your eyelid, but want to see it closer. Thanks!

Don't want to be a jackass, but what is the point of "eyelids"? Is it purely aesthetic? To me it just doesn't look natural, like it is so obvious that someone did it themselves and that it's an aftermarket product. I can understand not liking the shape of our headlights, but I'm not so sure painting the top quarter of it an improvement. IDK, maybe I'm the only one, it seems like a lot of people like them and have them. Also, do any cars come stock with eyelids? Just curious.

I know this is an old thread, but bump.

I know there are more people with eyelids and I'm trying to decide on the shape I want mine.

My girlfriend has Shark Racing tomato eyelines (headlight eyebrows) on her '05 Tibby, and they look amazing! Honestly, in my opinion, much better looking than any eyebrows for our cars. On her car they actually cover the top of the lense that is exposed and just look like they were supposed to be there to begin with. Very subtle but def added some flair to her car. Plus shes lucky b/c Shark Racing is a big Tibby tuner site, and she had the option of buying them pre-painted the color of her car, which she obviously did. Lucky!

I will say however, that I really like an0malous's eyebrows. I don't know if they are custom or what, but if I could find she he/she got them, i'd consider buying them. (but like I said, i'd bet they are custom) Eyebrows usually adhese on with 3M adhesive......or at least thats my gf's were....so if I didn't like them they'd be easy to remove. Well, kinda easy anyways. That 3M stuff really STICKS! lol

Same difference w/ the lip thats on your SS/SC. Its the same bumper as my 2.4, but has a small addition on it to give it some added flair. To me, headlight eyebrows are to headlights like lips are to a stock bumper. You don't need them, but they add character.
