Few new pics
Haven't posted pics on here in a while so here's the newest pics...since last time, it's been lowered and the CF hood has been painted and finally put on. Waiting on my Hahn exhaust from TTR then I'll get before/after flybys and revs/idles. What's everyone think so far?

Also, I've got the redline shiftboots + Momo handle. Will get pics of that up soon, too.

I think our trunks look a little too naked without badges and I think the original setup looks like ass...this was my solution. I also like the hood but obviously it isn't everyones taste.
Thanks!

I've actually seen that on a few other people's cars. I don't like it that much. For some reason I just don't like our cars without much on the trunk. Unless its wingless.
Thanks
Thanks
i dont think i would have painted a carbon fiber hood, i would have just gotten a fiberglass one
lets be realistic, its a DD theres not a noticable difference
Anyways, i love that hood, ive always wanted it! looks good

I realize it's not on the list of "approved CSS.net mods" that everyone seems to have but I personally love how it looks.
It's funny how no one likes that hood, and it originated from a Chevrolet...let alone an "SS" Chevrolet. Looks good! I'd rock that hood with a wingless or "low profile" type wing trunk lid.

You may be right but for the price + slight benefit, it was worth it.
I hear ya although I can see why some people could argue that the body isn't a great fit for that design. I personally love it. I think the curves in front of the scoop flow with our curvy bodies.
Thanks a lot man! It'll be even cleaner when I break out the buffer this week. That's the shitty body shop wash with water spots all over
. The KDW2's are pretty sick. I haven't had them on long but so far they seem top notch in wet/dry environments. Night/day difference than the stockers. I've heard bad things about them in snow so I'm not looking forward to winter
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I saw it on another black car (pretty sure it was on this site) and I thought it looked so much cleaner than the stock badging.
Thanks, that was the first thing I did to the car. My buddy gives me **** cause the bowtie isn't color matched (I used a semi-gloss duplicolor) but I think it turned out better this way anyway. I would like the trailblazer SS badges I've seen some people use but I don't want to bother filling the stock holes
That's the plan haha. Only things I wanna do to this car is the exhaust, a new heat exchanger, dual pass endplate, and slightly tint the tails. I was going to go all out but I ended up with a '73 stingray instead so I'm gonna quickly finish up the cobalt while we work on the vette. Once the vette is done I'll come back to it and maybe go turbo.
The KDW2's are pretty sweet, I explained it better a little further up in this post.

Car looks good man, I like the hood would love it if you didn't paint it but if it was sun faded like you stated I would have done the same thing. Couldn't have beat that price that's for sure.
Thanks for the opinion man, yeah, snow is a no-go with 'em I'm sure. My buddy had ran them before, switched to Azeni RT615's and is now back on the KDW's and sung their praises to me the other day once again. Right now I'm running Nitto Invo's, so the KDW2's are just slightly more. Debating whether to fork out the money, or run something a bit more subtle on the wallet and treadwear wise. It sucks!
Back on topic, car looks great
