I basically shaved of the top part of the antenna the receiver part. (its temporary till i get a shorty but it looks better), and the radio still works (most of the time)

Painted the Calipers nearly 4 days after i got the car (they are a bit dirty)

I just painted the shifter red, black, and white.

The black rim around the original aluminum part is now red, the silver aluminum part is now black, the lines are white and numbers red. (my leg wanted attention and snuck into the pic!!!! GRR)

Future mods include:
-K&N Intake, when I get it shipped in (soon)
-TOG Headers, when I get it installed (soon)
-Front billet aluminum grill, already in just have to paint it black
-Exhaust, a few months (it will be a cat back, dual custom exhaust)
-Razzi rear valence bar, (the rest of the body kit sux but the back will go great with my exhaust)
-Shorty antenna, when I find a good one
-System, Including: LCD screen upfront to replace head unit (w/ DVD, MP3 capabilities), Red Sony xplod speakers and tweeters, and 3 10 inch Sony xplod subs in a custom built box in the trunk. I will also include a radar detector with the head unit (somehow integrate it)
-Armrest, when I get of my ass and purchase it
-Either paint the housing of my front lights black and get red reflectors to replace the amber ones, or paint the housing red to match car, and get clear reflectors.
-Rework the back lights to do this: the outside lights or the original break and running lights will be mad so the outside rim for the light about an inch will be the turn signal to Fade to bright then back to normal, and the inside will be the break lights that are on at night. The inner reflectors around the reverse lights will be night time running lights.
-A C/F hood
-Black Eyelids to go with the hood.
-A full coilover setup, to lower the car.
-Custom aluminum pedals that light up red
-10% or 20% tints all around
-And later on (a few years from now) reupholster the headlining to be black and red.

Ok for some reason when i try to post up the actual pics it gives me the box w/ the x in it, meaning the pic isn’t their, so i don’t know what to do.
If anyone can tell me how to fix it please do so i can make the post better and not have you people redirected to look at the actual pics

 

damnit... i would just like to note that i planned on doing the SS up front logo before i seen this

well since you did that already you might as well do like myother plans and in the middle of the trunk right above the keyhole put a " SS " and "supercharged" logo right below the SS, the same way the doors are.

as far as the logo up front, did you reuse the rear logo, and is the chevey emblem on the front just a sticker as well? right now i'm on hold because the ss emblems are all on backorder for a long time

Ya i used the back logo. I had some double sided tape and put it on upfront.

The Chevy logo upfront is not a sticker, it has two screws holding it in, the screws are also connected to the grill and front crossbar.

 

i just dont like the badges on the trunk

other than that, dont buy sony audio stuff, it sucks!!

 

Actually iv had very good experiences with xplod, both me and my friends have used it in the past and never any problems.

 

Whered you'd get that antenna?

Personally, I don't like the shift knob, but to each their own!
If you like it, thats all that matters.

I like it, but what i want to know is how you got a kandn intake for the SS. And is it a shrot ram, or a CAI. Because i didnt know that they came out with them yet.

 

i dont have it in yet, im getting it as soon as they are done (since they prototyped it on my car) wich will be in around 2 weeks...hopefully. The intake is of the typhoon line and is a CAI

 

Everything looks great except the emblems on the spoiler and the shifter.

 

i love the **** youve done.. especially the front SS.. also.. wondering if you could get a straight on pic of the back of the car.. i really like the COBALT idea.. but i wanna see a better pic. thanks

i liked the debadged look and the ss up front but when i get one ill definetly keep the big chevy emblem just to **** off the imports. i agree ur antennae does look much better, at first i thought you had a retractable one, i wish chevy had made them retractable in the first place.

I like the SS on the front. Just like the old chevelle ss's.

In my opinion, I would definitely not get pedals that light up red... That is just screaming Rice Tuner.
I also don't like the way you painted your shift knob.

I don’t want pedals that light up red... more like they give off a slight red light (ya I know sounds exactly the same) i just want a dim red light coming from the pedals.

know likes the shifter i see?.. well that what my friends said when they saw a pic of it, the shifter looks much better in real life and all my friends agree, they actually love it

"rice tuner" well this car is a tuner by definition, and it is inspired by "rice" cars

I like where your going with the car....i actually like what you did with the shift knob and am possibly thinking about doing it to my car now except with blue instead of red...also i plan on getting two white strips on my car...which they are painted on(not no cheazy decals) and have a glossy clearcoat over top of that so they are nice and shiny...which i think it would look good cause my car is blue and the SS emblems on the side are already white so i think it would look good...IMO

 

cobaltSS.. what adhesive did you use for the COBALT in the back.. and also.. are you planning on keeping the double sided tape on the front SS.. or you gonna glue that?

 

I think I saw your plate in the front window.... yeah that looks like **** on any car I HATE when people do that... its like trying to prove your plate wont stay on.... either leave it on or leave it home. You get pulled over for not having it on the car... in the window wont help

other than that ... I love the SS up front just needs to be cleaner
