Fiberglass Vs. Carbon Fiber

alrite im debating on which hood is lighter and better? i need everyones opinion...let me know what yall think i should get...

CF is lighter than fiberglass. I'm not a big of fan of CF personally, so I would say fiberglass.

CF is lighter and actually stronger. thats why the newer planes coming out are using it now.

Yes yes, carbon fiber is lighter and stronger BUT, most aftermarket "carbon fiber" parts are made of fiberglass with a layer of CF weave on top. If you looking at just saving weight, it doesn't really matter which way you go unless you actually find a TRUE carbon fiber piece. IMHO

he's right, my expensive rk sport is only carbon fiber on top and fiberglass on the bottom
