I'm sure that most of you have seen the hood poll that I had posted before. Well, I took the results that were voted on all the message boards that I had the poll posted on, and narrowed it down to the three with the most voted. I also went ahead and added a 2" cowl hood to vote on as well. If everyone could please vote on these and if we can get enough voted, Chaser Aerodynamics is gonna make the hood for us. As stated before, I am also gonna try and get a group buy for the hood we choose, so if you would be willing to participate in that as well, please make a post and let me know. Here are the final four hoods to vote on.

The plan is to make whichever hood we pick in CF. The goal is to try and get like 75 or 100 people to agree and vote on one hood. I also have this poll posted on a couple of other sites as well.

 

I'd say #2 would actually do something, allowing a little airflow around the blower, but I don't think I'd put anything but and OEM style one on my car, so I won't vote.

 

I'm against cowl hood on compacts except on very few exceptions. They look ridiculous and scream "pay attention to me," which is okay if you have a sub-12-second car, but otherwise it screams "overrated." If you're going to put the muscular look of cowl on your car, please back it up with some serious horsepower.

The best-looking hood there is the Evo's, but it'd look weird on any other car, I think.

Almost 1/2 the board is digging the cowl and nobody makes one yet so they would own that market.

personally i'd have to see a cowl hood on a cobalt before i made final judgement. i personally think they look good on older cars moreso then a newer one

 

I wish I still had my NFS game I would take a screen shot of my Cobalt it has one on it and it looks sick.
I know it's not the same as real life but you get the idea.

I'm not a huge fan of any of them, but I voted cowl. IMO, it's the best option listed.

 

Keep the votes coming guys. We need to get more if we want to see any of these hoods made. As for the cowl hood, it's not gonna have the air vents on the side or anything like that. I was thinking just making it a plain 2" cowl hood. What does everyone else think?
