Finally getting my NYC Dash Kit

My interior trim, like many peoples, had gone to **** after a year of having the car. everything silver is either flaking or just looking very bad, so i gave in about a month ago and ordered a 46 peice dark blue carbon fiber interior set. i think it will match the car nicely. supposed to take about 6 business days, well it's been a month, and it looks like it's finally on the truck for deliver today! i'll post some pics later, my brother, who ordered after me put his on about 2 weeks ago and it looks really good. very tasteful, you wouldn't even know that he bought it, you would think it came like that. i'm hoping mine is just as nice. pics to follow

i'll be putting it on as soon as i get it. fridays are cool in my business, if i go in, i go in. leave whenever. most people don't even go in on fridays. so i'll get my package, and probably leave right away to put it on. i'll let you know when it's done.

it's real carbon fiber, but it goes over the pieces. but they make it so that you can't tell it's over. it looks like an actual replacment part. on my brother's TC it does at least. a 46 piece replacement set would be like 2,000 dollars... haha... gravana has their 4 piece set for like 500 and change... no thanks...

www.nycdashes.com there's different kits and different prices. there's a 20 something piece kit and a 46 piece kit. it varies depending on the material you get.
the real carbon fiber and real wood are more expensive than the fake stuff though.

^^ the real carbon fiber is an additional 30%. it says that in the pull down menus. but i think it's still a great price for all the pieces. it's pretty much the whole interior. fed ex is stil not here, and i'm excited! but it's going in today, if i have to run extension cords from the house to the car to put a light in i will.

they permanently stick on. it's a permanent replacement, if you ever decide you don't like them you will have to get new dash peices.

there's different colors, materials, etc.

got my peices, and they look damn good. i'll be putting them on, will take pics when i'm done.

ok, so here they are. came out great. there's a few things i recommend, and make sure you keep them in mind if planning this:

1) CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN the surfaces so everything sticks properly.
2) If you don't have the patience of a saint, don't even bother
3) There's parts where you would see what's underneath. I had mine painted the same color as the carbon fiber, so you don't notice parts that if they were still the stock color you would really, really notice. I would recommend painting the color you get before you put the peices on.

everything is so shiny in there that some of the pieces look a little distorted around the edges. it's just a reflection.

Without further ado:

yea i'm really happy with it. if you look at the 2nd pic from the bottom, look closely at the edges. you can see where the carbon fiber peice stops. if it wasn't painted, it wouldn't look so good. but since it's painted, it blends very, very well.

OMG... i need to change my pants.... that is ******* stunning.... screw painting my dash... I might just get this... OMG

Just went to wowtrim.com and they have a gallery you can search by color. I think the orange carbon fiber looks amazing.

Just thought I would let you guys know if you are interested in looking at the product. NYCDashes is less expensive but wowtrim has a good gallery

guys, i have a few extra peices if anyone wants to see what they look like. paypal the shipping charges and they're yours. probably like 4 or 5 dollars anywhere in the states i would guess. i have the sunroff button souround, there's 2 of them for some reason, 2 pieces to go around the door handle, 2 pieces for the door controls (power windows and stuff) and a rear cupholder without the armrest. let me know if anyone wants to see them.

How is the fitment on the center dash trim pieces? I'm talking about the silver trim that splits the dash right above the glove box.

that piece sucks. it's not SUPER noticeable because i have the silver trim painted... the other peices fit fine though..
