FINALLY got my lights!!

no thanks to friggin' k2motor. used 'buy it now' on 2/1, finally got to me 2/27 after they 'lost' my paypal payment. dunno how the heck that happens, but 3 messages to them went unreturned over a 2 week period. they finally sent me a message saying 'lost your payment, sorry, will be shipped soon.' that was the last time i heard from them. didn't bump me up with shipping at all or anything, took over a week to get here. rediculous. i know stuff can happen, i'm not really too steamed about that. if they simply emailed me saying 'hey, small problem, hold tight' i would have been fine. after them having almost $200 of my money and no contact and then no 'hey we're sorry for our error, and lack of contact, we'll get you your product asap,' i can't help but think 'scam.' did file a dispute, gonna close it today. my advice to everyone: stay away from k2motor!!!

anyways, onto the goods!!!

i'll get pics of 'em in my car once i get them wired up. don't think i'm gonna use the led's, undecided about those. definatly will wire up the halos, and if i can find them get some silverstar ultra headlights, but i dunno where to find them.

Might wanna wire up the led's i was reading another post where someone didnt pass a safety cause one of the rings wasnt lighting up. I think they said something like "if its there, it has to work." But someone correct me if i'm wrong.

nope, already tried there. jeg's too. i also want to get the silverstar ultra h11 bulbs for my fogs so everythings in 'balance' and not have one set of lights way brighter than another. my walmart and pepboys didn't have the ultra's, (had the regular h1 bulbs though) didn't have any h11's. i may go with lumincs cause i can actually get those. lol.

yeah i was looking at the piaa's on amazon last night. honestly i don't want to spend that much money on headlights that may last me a year. if they'd last me 2-3 years easy, then i'd consider it. i'd rather spend the money on luminics that may die out after a year that are easy to afford.

i'm honestly not interested in doing an hid setup. i was able to find a site and got some luminic's, both headlights and foglights, for a decent price, should be in hopefully by monday or tuesday. i'll get everything wired up and get them in, hopefully aiming them won't be too much of a pain, especially considering i don't have a garage or a wall i can use, so i gotta drive to a friends house to try and aim them. hopefully i'll get 'em good so the drive home will be okay. lol.

they take h1 bulbs. if you want both low and high beams you'll need 4 bulbs. i ordered 2 sets of bulbs (4 total) for the headlights, but the 2nd sets just incase one dies i'll have an immediate backup. just gonna leave the stock bulb in for the highs.

few quick shots of the lights on my car. will post night pics once i get the new side bulbs, projectors aimed properly, and halos wired up properly. still debating about the led's if i want them hooked up or not. right now i'm still leaning towards no. heh.

don't mind the dirty car.... please. lol.

seating looks slightly off, but this was the best we could get it.
