Okay I knew I had some pictures of craptacular e-bay projectors!

A while back when I retrofitted e46 HID projectors into my cougar, my friend who bought some crappy ebay projectors for his imprezza wanted to see what I thought of them. I took them apart and found out that they were the crappiest things I have ever touched. The projectors themselves are made from glass and of all things PLASTIC. Just for kicks I placed a d2s xenon bulb in it and the cutoff line wasn't even straight and the beam just faded away towards the bottom... and that was with HID.... when his halogen bulbs were in them, you couldn't see anything. I just found these pics on my old harddrive so I'll post them up, they look awfully similar to these.

The crappy "Halo/Angel Eye" Shroud

The crappy ebay projector itself.

What could that be??? Plastic??

A d2s bulb placed in the ebay projector: Some sorry excuse for a cutoff line due to a crappy ebay shield on a crappy ebay projector.

I got Blue Tint Halogens for $21 Canadian. Couldn't be happier with them ... they look great!

I came uppon this same seller while looking for lights for my girlfriend's S-10, I couldn't help but laugh and wonder what "Slide the low beans and high beans!" meant. Still haven't figured it out, but it really makes me wonder about the quality of the product.

it means that instead of having a unibulb for high and low beams it converts them to a seperate high beam bulb and a seperate low beam bulb

Ok, so what about the "sliding" of them? Beams being spelled "beans", obviously we're not dealing with a very smart person.
