First 2.2L with this exhaust..?
This is the ARK GRiP for those of you who don't know. I just installed it late late last night and I am in love with it. <3
Also, this is a new picture to show it really isn't out of place at all, minus it sticking out a bit. Obviously so it doesn't melt the ******* bumper.

it sticks out more bc it was made for a LSJ, they stick out a tad bit more bc of the lip, and the lip helps hide the fart can a bit aswell, looks good on the LSJ, not feeling it on a base model though sorry...but prob for dropping so much cash on it, although the extra hundreds you spent on it didnt gain u more power than a traditional 2.5" exhaust with lets say a borla or magnaflow muffler...

2. I like angled canisters.
3. The quality of ARK's exhaust will far surpass any other exhaust, in my opinion, for the Cobalt.

Case and point: I can understand constructive criticism, but I don't build my car for all the people on this forum.. I do it for myself.

A friend proposed that idea to me last night and I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to get it so it sits flush with the rear, as for hung higher, I don't think it can go any higher.

If you went custom exhaust the shop would have made it fit the car and angled the muffler like that if that's what you wanted. It would have been cheaper and probably just as good quality depending on the shop. But to each their own.
