Ive searched and couldn't find. Anyone with some flat white painted cobalts? I would love to see. Im planing on this with an carbon fiber hood n trunk.. If not ill be picking up an different car and selling mine.. Would be helpfull If pics were posted

Matte clear isn't really common on Cobalts, and usually those who get it are those going with a matte black.

 

I've never seen any with it but curious to see the final product

Wow i was just thinking of matte white with matte black hood, rims, evo mod and wing!!! any body wanna photoshop it?

 

I just recently painted my honda bike a flat white, I used VW cool white as the base and then a little toyota pearl, and finished off with "flex-a-flat" clear which pretty much made everything come together. camera won't do the trick but in person it looks absolutely amazing.

Doesn't matte paint end up chalky?

I've always read not to go Matte but Satin when it comes to paint.

satin is what I would probably consider the color of my bike up there, glad I went with that because the matte has no shine to it at all, I wanted some shine as I'm sure someone with a new vehicle would want also. I have no chalkeyness at all, it still shines in the light like day 1 and looks booring and flat white when there is no sun out..

 

Why not try a vinyl wrap OP? You can have it taken off if you ever sell the car. Just a thought.

I've been thinking about vinyl wrapping my car and matte white is one of the choices. not sure how it would look on the cobalt but it works really well on many cars

This guys did a G37 in Grey matte Silver wrapping. You can understand how it work.

I was just looking into pricing for matte white vinyl wrap myself. A shop down here quoted me 2500, not too sure I wanna drop that cash yet but damn matte white is sexy.
