I have this done with my Led bars. I didn't tap anything tho. Just bought a pin switch and there is a spot on the car that it fits into fine. Do you want it for all doors or the driver side?

I will get a pic of how its set up.

i am putting in 2 driver side and passenger side i would like the lights to come on when ether door opens i tryed to tie into the fuse for the dome light and it just stayed on no matter what so i am now tieing into the fuse for the sterio witch is 15A it works but they kick on when the key turns to acc.

well the good news is i can get then to turn on by using the acc fuse only issue is that one of them is only half lit up
this is what i am trying to use http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0248877

You can use the switches that are already in the car if you want, I used them to wire up the lights under my doors so they are only on when the doors are open. They are grounds though, so you'd need to make a hot line from somewhere. It's pretty easy, you just gotta rip apart everything to get to them.
