Fog Light Button To Go In Dash Trim Without Fog Light Hole

How can I get the fog light button to go in the trim that does not already have the hole for the fog light? I already got the trim piece out but don't want to do anything yet cause I don't wanna mess it up.

Or you could have gotten the trim piece out of a wreckers - just find a wrecked balt with fogs.

That said, what you have done will work so....
