Yea the fogs I got at Walmart actually. It was a single bolt on the top of it and right underneath on each side there were 2 body clips.

I popped the clips out and the bolt fit right in.
did you have to take of the bumper to do this or is there enough room to access it from underneath??

I did it right from underneath. Not counting the wiring process, it took about 10 minutes.

this is a good mod to do. Those walmart fogs are decent as you can tell and cost less than 50 bucks. good day off project to do on a sunny day

I'm trying to put in fog lights as well, but I have an LT with the non-molded part on the bumper. Has anyone put them in on that? I don't really want it to have that weird piece that hold them out either like on the LT's but rather have them sit in more like that of the SS.

I've been looking into getting the housing that goes right back in where you would take that piece out from. You have to get it from a chevy dealership, i think...i couldnt find anything on ebay or anything like that. But anyways, they would go right back in so it's not looking all funky haha

thats the kind of look i've been looking for too. just got to get the cash to do it haha

As long as the bracket has one single mounting bolt, you should be good. That way you can just pop those body pins out and replace it with the bolt.

I wired mine to my parking light fuse under the hood and then to a switch in the cabin. That way I usually leave the switch on and they'll turn on with the running lights or the headlights automatically. Or if for some reason I want them off, I just flip the switch.

$20 FTMFW!!

Looks similar to mine. I wanna get new ones because a rock actually put a crack across the lens on mine. They still work and produce light ok, but when I look at them closely it bothers me.

so i took all your advice and went a bought a set of fog lights to put on my LS cobalt in the middle of the bottom bumper. Here is a link of the lights before installing

they have blue lights on the side that turn on with your parking lights (as long as I can figure out how to wire them up correctly) and im hoping they match my new blue LEDs on my projectors
