found a cool place to put neons!

first of all im not a huge fan of neon lights, but while i was @ miejers (or how ever you spell it) over the weekend i went poking around in the car care isle and i got the most random idea to buy a 6 inch thin neon blue tube and see where i could put it when i got in the parking lot! any way to make a long story shorter...directly infront of the cup holders there is a litte dip to put like a pen or something in, if you feel directly above that there is a space big enough to hid a very thin neon tube (about the diameter of a pencil) up there and superglue or 3m tape in place. to my suprise it looks totally awesome! it lights up the cupholders and shifter at night with out seeing a bright ass bulb or leds! VERY COOL! ill try to post pics soon but if you get the time before i do i highly recomend doing it. much much easier than leds in the cup holder and it gives the same effect plus more!

the kit i bought came with 2 light sticks with all the stuff you need to mount them. they are like 4 inches long and are both wired into the cigarette lighter adapter that also has a switch on it.....for those of you in the north, i bought it a Meijer for like $12. the wires are somewhat clear and are small too, so they were easy to conceal within moldings, etc. does anyone know if these are legal in texas.....im from michigan, and i think they are illegal there, but idk about texas.

Very nice, but how about some pics during the day where we can see how and where they are located.

actually , i live in texas and back in my old car i had a few blue neons wired up in my car, i got pulled over because he saw the bulb because i was moving it while i was at a stop light. he gave me a warning, and told me neons are illegal on the inside only if they are above the window to where you can see the bulb, if all you see is the glow, its perfectly fine.

for underbody, a cop i talked to said amber was the only legal color completely around the car, red is legal in the back, for when you are driving, unless you can see the bulb or its flashing. lights are legal if you are parked somewhere....just fyi

What type of shop is "Meijer" ??? Is it a speed performance type place? Not sure where to look here in Ontario - besides E-Bay...

Do neon's come in red also? I think it would look neat with the red inserts...
