If you want to go through the trouble of buying another set of calipers/have your car sitting for a few days with no brakes, and shell out the extra money for powdercoating then be my guest. This will hold up for at least a year or two with no problems.

Just wait until you need to change your brakes and calipers and order a new set and have them powder-coated before you switch them out.

What all did you tape up while you painted them? Besides the rotors and pistons?

Looks really good! And paint is okay, I painted my Z24 calipers black and they lasted well over 5 years. People have had their powder coating crack, at least with paint it's easy to touch up should something happen.

heres my before and after tape... just to give you an idea.. plus if you do manage to get some overspray on the rotors, some brake cleaner takes it right off with just a little paper towel..

before

after

Ya the stickers are legit after a week in az 110+ heat on top of the brakes I peeled the old red logos off and they left no residue of any kind. That's how you know it's good stuff
