Hey guys tell me why Gm just told me that i cant put an SS bumper on a ls?

 

I think he buying the front bumper not the kit. :/ bad ideal unless you plan on buying the rest of the kit later on.

 

well u know i i hate the ls bumper but it depends on how much the rest of the kit is

hey cesar do u hve the whole kit on ur car? why did they say the front bumper cant be put on?

 

dude I hate the LS bumper too but im not going buy a SS bumper because from the side it looks way lower then rest of the car (with out SS skirts and SS bumper) and it going look like ****. IMO

If you want it to look good like a SS get the whole kit or youe LS going look weird as hell.

 

The dealer may not be able to order it for you, since your car is not an SS, I may be wrong though.

Cesar has a 2.4, which comes with the SS kit minus the front and rear lips. He put those on himself.

cause it might to fit properly! but it wrked for u but i hve a 2.2l but why would that hve to do with anything

 

Well someone else ,I forgot who, said the got into a minor accident with their ls or lt and ordered an ss bumper. But from the mechanic I think.

I'm pretty sure you could. Alot of my friends said I couldn't put a rear lip on a sedan. LOL

Steve buy the whole kit PLZ you wont be sorry when you do, your car would look so nice with the full kit because the whole car will flow.

The full SS kit makes a Huge diff on a LS. (will be worth every penny)

Get the bumper if you cant afford the rest of the kit now then add on more parts of the SS kits as you can afford it till you got the whole kit or just save for whole damn kit that what I would do.

You'll always be ls. The rear was dificult. The measureing of the slot to the bumper was hardest

 

Yeah marking the holes is pretty tricky. My lip also required some modifications to fit.

However for the front you also need the right and left lower brackets and the lower air dam from a 2.4

or you could buy my sedan body kit. The only one made so far for the sedan.

 

look it up... Im sure you can find the parts yourself. Just a note, these parts are not manditory of the installation but the brakets help hold the bumper on better and the air dam helps channel more air into you radiator.

maybe take more than a minute. Take a look at Halfcent's how to for removing and installing the front facia. READ that whole thread and you won't have anymore questions.
