Front end isn't fitting right..

I have these annoying ass gaps in my front end and it looks weird as ****..

Too much gap between the hood and light, as you can see the massive gap.


Too much gap between the bottom of the light and the fascia.


Hood looks like it's open, too much gap between fascia and hood.


My fascia is too far down or some ****? How the hell is this fixed..? I've never hit anything. It's bothering the **** out of me.

yeah mine is like that on the drivers side but I was in a couple wrecks before it started

The hood and front fascia gap is that way on pretty much every balt. Same for the hood/top of headlight one. But took out my headlights and painting the housings black and now I have that same gap on the bottom of the headlight/bumper and it drives me nuts too

Yeah, what the **** gives? All I ever did was take my lights out to paint them, but that doesn't explain all of the gaps..

I always have water gather on my CAI filter from that gap. It ******* sucks.

There has to be a fix for this. People always ask me - Is your hood open..? I easily fit a finger between the fascia and the hood; it's bad.

No, they're not. I met up with a few guys last week and they didn't have gaps HALF as bad as I have; not even comparable.

What bolts? The only ones I know of that would even help would be the ones that connect to the fender.

hailcesar75, I just looked through your gallery, I would give my left nut to have **** line up that good.

thats pretty much it, there are some screws on the bottom of the bumper, the rest are just snaps

Well I have never heard anyone with an Injen CAI on an LS bitch about water getting all over the filter from shitty alignment with the headlight.

I get it every single time it rains. I literally have to sit there and rev the **** out of my motor to pass the water through.

Mine was like that too, but the front end got wrecked and I had it replaced. It wasn't cheap but the shop I used made it perfect!

You could try taking the headlights out and move the black bracket things that hold them in place to get those gaps a little better. I replaced my bumper last weekend and I was messing with final alignment a lot

Do you have all tabs and push pins in? Maybe you sealed you're headlights a little high? Dunno bro

Yeah, I've moved the bracket a million times.

Yeah I sealed them correctly; I'm wondering if the dealership would fix it?

Eh, they might and they might not. The fascia being all out of whack really would not be impacted by removing the headlights and the bracket.

Easy fix on the hood to headlight gap...Unloosen the 4 bolts that hold the hood on, then adjust it down, then retighten. MAKE SURE you keep it even on the sides, or youll hit your fenders with it when you open and close it. As for the headlight to fascia gap, you need to remove your headlight, and there is a bracket that has a bolt on it underneath the light housing. Unloosen this bolt and readjust as needed. Takes time, and patience.

Mine was fine, I took out my lights and painted them now I have massive gap all around. It's because my lens isn't as far back into the housing as before. Not necessarily you're problem but that's what caused mine

The bolts for the bracket, that hold the light, you mean?
