Front license plate location... Thoughts?

I know it's covering up my intercooler a little bit. I tried to minimize that as much as a could by crimping it back and drilling holes. Is this a stupid idea?

I'm glad that front plates aren't a law where I'm from. However our tinting laws suck.

Looks pretty good there though, not sure if it is an issue performance wise or not.

not sure about where you're at but in Colorado if you "modify" the plate you can get a ticket for it. been pulled over for this on my bike before but only received a warning. and the window is illegal here too. but i cant see where you put it being a terrible thing, i would just buy a "jdm style plate mount" off of ebay like this one JDM LICENSE PLATE HOLDER BRACKET RELOCATOR ADAPTER CHR | eBay first.

Just leave in the stock location, put a tinted cover over it looks fine.

Minnesota law sucks.. not sure if modifying the plate like that is even legal but the placement is fine I think.

Otherwise do the tinted cover thing. That looks pretty good.

Not bad, I kind of want to relocate it to the side but sometimes it looks stupid.

I'm mostly concerned with blocking my intercooler... I'm not sure if i'm causing any harm or not.

Yeah you def violated the law by changing the original plate. I dont even have mine on the fron and its NJ law. Never gotten a ticket yet but i am also completely stock looking on the outside besides exhaust. I dont get bothered or pulled over.

I did pretty much what you did. cut some off the top and bottom, wire tie it in place. I didn't cut quite so much, nor did I drill holes. You have to look twice to notice that I even cut up the plate.
