front license plate removal

front license plate removal

so i just drilled out my front license plate holder which was a bitch. then i went and got sealent putty, filled the holes, and painted it with color matched paint which was perfect surprisingly. all and all went well but y in the hell would they make those so hard to take off?

Did you buy the car from out of state, or why was there even a front plate holder on the car if you don't need one where you are?

i bought it used in tennessee so it probably got here from some place else but three damn holes in my nice bumper. two would have been good

you could have instead got like an SS license plate or a bowtie plate depending on what model you have like on my ram, i have a plate that says HEMI on it, looks sweet.

i got lucky.. my friend backed into my car so when i got my front bumper replaced i told them not to drill the holes for the front plate

Even if your state/province requires it you can usually get away with putting it in the front window. I might do that when I get my projectors put in, they just ruin the look of the front end.

u guys tell me but i think the holes didnt turn out too bad or 10 minutes of work. u cant see them unless ur lookin for them.

so quick update, filled holes holding up great and with the paint baked on i dont even notice even if i look straight at my bumper.
