Has anyone put a G5 rear lip on a SS/SC?How does it fit? Looking at the RK sport.

 

it will not fit unless you cut some of the bumper off on the sides. you'll have to cut yours or get a ls bumper to put it on.

The G5 GT lip fits the base G5 bumper, unlike the SS/SC whose lip fits on a larger bumper as opposed to the LS/LT bumper.

 

So LS/LT rear bumper and it will fit fine?Then I don't even know if it's even with the rest of the SS/SC kit. Doesn't sound to appealing anymore. I wanted to get it with the rest of the stock SS/SC kit and paint the center diffuser section flat black.

 

yea it will fit fine with the ls/lt bumper. it will still flow with the rest of the ss kit. if you want i can find pics of the rear bumper of the ss and the ls to show you what the difference is. the side of the bumper on the ss right behind the wheels comes down further than the ls/lt bumper does.

 

Hmm. If I get it atleast I will be able to make some of the money back.. IDK Has anyone done it?

 

there was one guy on here that just cut his ss bumper to make it fit. other than that i dont think anyone has been willin to cut or change their bumpers. but if you decide to do it then let me know cuz i'd like to get a ss rear bumper and lip.
