G5gT RK sport lip

i want the rk sport lip my base bumper is all scratched and all that so i wanted to get a new bumper.
should i just look for a SS bumper with the slits so the lip can fit on the bumper? is any modification needed?

its attached with double sided tape, and screws on the ends; no slits necessary.

so than i can use it on my stock bumper
im talking about the g5 lip with the fin things in the middle not the cobalt lip that has dual exhaust cutouts

Yes the G5 lip will fit on your stock bumper.

The Rk lip is designed for the base cobalt/G5 model bumper, it requires modifications for the SS/GT bumpers.

alright cool.
now all i gotta do is order that and a base bumper for the rear. than sideskirts.
for the front should i get a SS bumper with lip or just get a Rk sport front lip and put it on my current base bumper.

I got the SS bumper for the front, and im getting the Rk side skirts and Rk g5 rear lip. Just waiting till spring now.

I have a ss sedan. I was thinking about the rk sport rear lip for the g5. you think that thing will fit on the sedan?

Just an FYI to all u know it alls, the rk rear lips are for
Coupes, if your mounting them on a 4 door the rear skirt has to be shortened,

But if your mounting on a coupe then there's no modification needed for base model or ss bumpers..

Just saying

This is what I mean by shortened






And the I know the blue sedan above did the same to his lip
And I also know a guy who has the rear cobalt rk lip and he had to do the same

But again if it's on a coupe then it's a stick on mod, with a couple screws

i was told for SS models it has to be trimmed. mastashake88 had to trim his. but for the base its direct fit

It does fit, you jus have to cut it a Lil to match the shape

You have to cut like a .5" off each side near the wheel well to get the lip to sit on right.. Otherwise it just lines up. The SS model is the only one you have to cut tho I think, the other ones don't flare out like that.. The sedan version is praly a Lil dif tho

That's an ss rear lip, but the rk sports need to be nodded the same way to fit on a sedan bumper
