Gen4 RX330 Retrofit:)

Finally finished my retrofit.
Don't really post here anymore...pretty much live on HIDPlanet.
Big thanks to Matt at The Retrofit Source . com

Stats:
Gen4 Depo Lights
RX330 Projectors
Clear Lenses
Modified Stock Shields(to sit lower=more light)
Morimoto 3Five Ballasts
Osram CBI Bulbs(OEM, 5000k, 3400 lumens)
Hella 100W Highs
Nightshades Side Markers
Custom harness(to keep lows on with highs at night)

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

And some output shots. Some things to note when looking at these; the right projector is brighter. If I had noticed this before I would have put it on the driver's side(rule of thumb among retrofitters). That bulb is also more broken in. I have since switched the bulbs so it's more even now. These pictures are also a bit underexposed. I didn't have my tripod and was getting too much noise at higher ISOs. I'll try to get better ones later this week.

I'm already starting my next retro this week. It's an addiction. Most likely this retro will be up for sale when I finish that one. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll let you know if/when the sale becomes official. Tentatively, the price will be 700+shipping with everything or 450+shipping for just the lights.

Those must be killer bright at night. Why did u choose the rx330 ones over like a tl, fx-r or even a e55?

To be honest, if I could do it over I would have used FX-R's. Well that's not entirely true. I would have used the MiniD2S because they would have fit with no cutting. If I had wanted equal difficulty to the RXs I would have chosen the FX-R...
But the reason I originally did is because the Gen4s already have the halogen highs and i hardly ever need to use them since the Bay Area is non-stop city. So bixenon wasn't a concern. I would never use e55's because I find their low beams to be lacking even though the high beam is generally considered the best.

My next retro is going to be TL's into the stock lights. If these sell with just the lights I'll use the ballasts and bulbs in them. If someone takes everything I'm going with 5Five bulbs/ballasts
