What is the spoiler actually made out of? Did you buy one and glass it on or is it all a one off?

Your work looks real good either way. Good job.

that has lil to nothing to do with it, you get that when too many people are trying to all acces the same site at the same time, and the server is getting over loaded.

Just FYI, my bro owns a paint/body shop and he said you can use car paint on the calipers and it'll hold up fine. Only way you can match your car. It's my plan for my car since I want to cutsom paint my new calipers.

Wing looks great. You work fast and make good progress

Thank god! I was planning on leaving them like that anyways The 3B spec ballasts came with a mounting bracket, DDM tuning didnt come with anything but 1 piece of double sided tape. If they can warrenty something like that....then im sure duct tape will hold it just fine lol

Yea its a one-off. Its actually a piece of styrofoam that they use in boat repairs. Just rough shaped it, layed fiberglass over it for shape and strengh, then shaped it more and filled in the holes and low spots with fiberglass filler. That **** is real strong too. You cant bend this spoiler, its solid as a rock. And if you can tell by the pics, it started out real squared off and thick, yesterday I shaved it and rounded the ends off so its much thinner now, and still you can pull and push on it and its not going anywhere. Its solid.

Once i finish the body work, It was a real short day and didnt get too much done today, just kept workign that spoiler. Got the top of it relitively flat and smooth. Bottom is still being worked on, then the edge of it has to be perfectly rounded. I imagine late next week. I probobly wont be taking all the yellow off, just wetsanding the car with 600 grit and spraying it. Leave as much OEM stuff on there as I can.

It can be done, and im considering it. I just wanna finish the car and then ill worry about that, but the whole reason i liked this spoiler so much is becasue no1 had it. But im sure if I do it, ill have some pride in it and be happy to see people rockin it.

regular styrofoam breaks down with the resin and ****, and this stuff pretty much shrunk too, but this is actually foam that they use to fiberglass boats with, i got it from a boat shop. But you can go to AC moore and get the foam they put it fake planters. You can get a sheet of it for like 2.97. They have green and white. Its real brittle and stiff, like 1/2" thick. I was gonna use that untill i got my hands on this stuff. The AC moore stuff wasnt long enough to do the entire piece, and since the piece bows a bit, it would have been difficult to connect the two and get it to look right and whatnot. But it can be done!

Did work out of the house today since i didnt get much done at the shop. Still shaping that spoiler. Just tryign to get all of the high and low spots out of it to get it perfectly flat and smooth. Sanding like a ************ the past 4 days. inhaling dusk so much im blowing blue/green boogers out my nose. The top of it is for the most part done, still need to feather it smooth into the trunk, the bottom still needs work and i have to get some more dynaglass to make sure the ends of it come to a nice point and are evenly spaced from the body line on the 1/4 panels. This **** is very specific lol. But today i got tired of the spoiler and decided to take some time to block the hood dent, and get this one dent out of my 1/4 panel right by the window thats been buggin the **** out of me. Every time i look out of my mirror i see the dent. Took care of it in like 5 seconds
