i know and i dont have a T-bolt clamp for the dejon so its sketchy as hell right now and yuck. it just looks pretty with gloss black piping instead of the airbox. I jsut wish it didnt suck so bad running one.

Not really feeling those vortex things at all but the rest is still unbelievably sexy.

 

My HVAC and radio are painted gloss black.
Wasn't about to half ass red/silver.
Be a man and paint the HVAC. I did. Just took a while to tape everything up. Looks good since I painted black over the heated seat bar too

And the radio doesn't really "just snap off" haha
You have to click out every button and remove a lot of parts.
Just keep them organized and you'll be good.
It's obvious at this point that you at least somewhat know what you are doing hahaha

 

you taped up all the icons? I find that hard to believe, i need to see pics of your HVAC controls.

Didn't fully cut out around the little guy parts or anything. Taped perfectly around the cool/heat slopes, and cut close to the numbers as possible, and most of the stick figures I cut close to the shape.

It is by no means perfect, but you can't notice until you bend down to it and look.
Light shines thru perfect, and it matches everything perfectly.
If you don't like it, you can always just buy one like you had planned anyway

 

I found one on ebay for like 30 bucks, but well see. Im not in any rush right now, and dont plan on ripping those pieces out till the summer time if I do anythign with them

 

buying a radio for 30$ seems better then painting it, I cant see a painted radio looking very good, Unless pics prove otherwise.

 

^i thought the same thing, i mean taping and exacto knife isnt a science, just a pain in the ass. and if it doesnt come out perfect, it would just be something that would bother me everytime

Buy one, I bought a black radio for $25...except when it got to my work they sent it back because they didn't know who it went to. Then it got lost in the mail. No black radio for me.
