Getting a little bored...

Hey guys,

Im trying to keep myself busy with the car without spending much money; starting to save for next car (looks like a Sky Redline maybe). My lease is over November 2009 and I have run out of cheap modding ideas. I was thinking of changing the SS badge on the back to the new SPORT badge from the 08's. It has to be something that can be reversed by the end of the lease when I give the car back. Any ideas/opinions? My mods are listed in my sig btw. Thanks

Don't spend no more money on the car if you are getting rid of it.

from what i understand, you are allotted a certain dollar amount in cosmetic damage. a friend of mine was explaining it to me when i asked why he was painting the dash trim of his lease. as long as what you do the the car can be fixed under the dollar amount they gave you, you won't be in any trouble when you turn the car in. but, that might not be the case for the OP, i've never leased a car so i dont know if that cosmetic damage thing is typical.

edit: but damn his mods go way past cosmetic, i assume when he turns it in he will just swap in all of the stock parts that he can and sell the aftermarket.

Dealership manager is a friend of a friend. The only prob with it is that if you have a problem that related to your mod(s), they wont fix under warranty. And they tend to point fingers at mods before completely researching the problem. But yeah as long as you're ok with all that and you take all the stuff off when you give the car back, you're good

As far as painting anything, I'd steer clear of painting in general. Seems too risky to mess with that situation.

If its from GM I can't see why it would be a problem. But as far as I know, you cant give the car back to them with a different painted section.

ANYWAY LETS GET BACK TO MY ORIGINAL POST PLEASE

Ideas so far are shorty antenna, potential debaging/rebadging

Agree, disagree, suggest something.
