Are the chrome grill, handles, and fuel tank cover really worth it? do they look good? i haven't been able to find pics anywhere of them except the stock gm pics which don't give you the idea of how it looks on the whole car...any help would be appreciated

 

fair warning... you are going to get flamed. Any time anyone wants to do an appearance mod or add chrome to their car, this whole forum gets their panties in a bunch.

My advice, if you like it, go for it. Don't give a rat's ass what anyone on here thinks. If these people had their way we would all drive black cars only desiged for racing and the track.

I dont like chrome much at all, but makes him feel bling bling...

 

Chrome isn't for everyone, but it works for me. I don't personally care if people hate it, my car, so I do what I want. It's your personal preference if you do it.

is that the gas door w/ the carbon insert or not? and the door handles, it says online that if you have keyless entry installed on your car you can't install the door handles, i find it hard to believe that keyless entry cars couldn't use a different handle, but that's what it says. do you have keyless entry?

 

Well I do believe in such a thing as overkill. The chrome surround on the grille is enough IMO. I've seen a car with that and billet style chrome on the rest of the grille and it just looked brutal.

One thing I forgot to mention for the OP, if you end up getting the chrome grille surround, it's a one shot deal on installing it, cause if you put it on and don't like it afterward you can't go back to stock since the installation requires you to cut off the center bar on the bumper.

Edit: Yes the gas door has the carbon fiber insert on it, but it's just a sticker.

 

also the door locks, do you have keyless entry to your car or not? the online ad says you can't install them on cars equipped w/ keyless entry
