Well some of you saw my projectors I had at the Fredrick meet well I'm sad to report they are no more. I was on my way home and I hit a freeking bird at about 90 smak dab on the passenger side headlight! Feathers EVERYWHERE, Bird **** all up my hood and windshield, blood all over the place! And a smashed headlight lens! I don't know what the hell kind of bird it was, maybe a Turkey Buzzard or a Blad Eagle but it had to be one damn big bird to smash the lens like it did! Not to mention all that ****! Holy CRAP!

So I'm back to running my stockers till I figure out what I want to do next. Maybe the chrome projectors, maybe I build my OWN retro HID projectors! Bah maybe I leave it stock.

Any thoughts guys?

I doubt it. The lens broke and it shattered the mounting brackets and split the back housing! I already threw them away.

Hmmmmm, color match the projectors you say? Why thats not a half bad idea ther Mr.Mkurley. AND after having taken aprt my old ones I now know it is in fact very easy to do.

I highly doubt that it was a turkey vulture. If it was it would have done a lot more damage than just the headlight. It was probably a normal bird cause at 90mph they will smash you headlight.

mk do you keep getting new projectors or what? lol seems like ive seen you selling them all the time... i would buy but i want some custom stuff (color matched blue halos amber leds and a way to wire the amber reflector thing with the turn signals and the regular turn signal as a daytime running lamp that turns off once the regular lights are activated

 

Get the chromies! You want those anywho! One bird, while I was in a convertable and a bird flew straight at the window, splattered a white leather interior....it was gross. All over me and the interior.

 

Oh, dude, I missed this post! My sincere condolences on the untimely passing of your headlight. It had a bright future, but was cut short by someone giving you the bird!
