Going into the body shop today!! :)
Wow, I gotta agree that the wingless SS looks really badass. Now I'm starting to be glad mine didn't come with one
Still, the entire thing looks pretty nice. I wish I could've done my bowtie like that. No matter how many times I sand and add more clearcoat to it, it still looks like your normal do-it-yourselfer.

They can if they "blend" the quarter panels. Basically, they put a little bit of color over the edges of the quarter panels and re-clear them. If they just paint the trunk, it will be off by a shade or two becaue metallic paints are sensative to air temparture, humidity, air pressure, and the angle from which they are being sprayed. If they painted your hoodf one day, your left fender another, andyour right fender another you would have 3 different colors from the exact same batch of paint due to atmospheric changes.

IF all you want done is to have the lock shaved, then blending won't be necessary because they won't be applying any color where the trunk meets the quarter panel, but if you want your spoiler removed and shaved as well then it will be required.
Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess if I could find someone that had a spolier removed, then I'd be in great shape!
