I re wrapped my door inserts last summer in some silverish pleather and they looked AMAZING.. until they started peeling?

it all started on a hot humid day, the glue let go and now they're loose but still stapled in the back if you can picture it

so I'm going to redo them in black this spring or possibly this weekend haha! whats the best glue to glue some vinly/pleather to the backing that are the door inserts so they DONT peel?


*and yes I've googled this but I didnt get a clear cut answer*
