Good Wax?

So I have a few very fine and light scratches on my black car.

Whats a good power buffer/waxer and wax i could buy to wax my car?

I am clueless and a noob in this department....

A product that I can easily pick up in a department store or autostore would be good. (aka somthing i dont have to order online)

Thanks.
Cody

I would recommend Mother's stage 2...but if you want to do the car right here's what you will need:

Mother's stage 1 : removes all old wax, contaminants, and oxidation that may be on the car

Mother's stage 2: Removes swirl marks

Mother's stage 3: Carnuba wax which adds the nice shine and depth

this can be purchased at your local wal mart, pep boys, auto zone etc etc.

Mothers Carnuba Cleaner Wax (Paste can or Liquid) works awsome. I found a coat of Mother Reflections really brings out the paint too!

Most importantly, remember to wax your car in the cool shade. Black will show everything if you do not do it right. Use a microfiber wax mit to apply the wax, and a microfiber towel to remove the wax.

One word: Zymol

It's what Paul Dalton uses @ his shop, and he's considered the best auto-detailer in the world.

I use Poorboy stuff, but will be picking up some Zymol sometime when I can afford it lol.
