^^^ I'd say painting the center bar that goes through the grill the same color as the car and leave the front bowtie black. That would be the cleanest / best contrast IMO.

yep tape sand and paint...1,2,3 nothing else....clear just makes it looked two toned...this makes it look plastic like it was part of the grille to begin with..

and p.s. you better do it, cause that **** would look sexy on a yellow balt...

I think your headlights would look best blacked out...If your not sure you want to do it then pick up a pair from the wreckers as a project or look for someone that puts some up for sale...Just a suggestion..

Looks sexy though!!

That is true, it is. And I loved cesar's since i saw it. I like his SS badge placement too. I would love to do that and put a Yellow SS in my grille. im liking this idea right now. im kinda nervous to go out there and paint my own bumper though. kinda ballsy.

just tape everythiing off and lay a bunch of t shirts/towels/sheets/blankets all over your car so it doesnt really look like your car at all...trick your eyes to think its just a 18 inch piece of plastic on top of another piece of plastic....its what i had to do to start sanding...just stand back and spray hundreds of light coats haha

i was thinking sportlines as well until my buddy who has owned many-o-cars and owns a 2005 ss/sc said of all the cars he has put springs on the ssc's ride the absolute best...so i went with his word and he was right!! saved me about $100 too...

Llike I said before. You did a great job. I'm still up for grave about painting the fog light area. Ain't sure yet but igot something that just might make it look like it came stock from
GM. Be on the lookout. LOL

Whoever wants to paint there lip. Go ahead and do it. We can make a club. You know like the black lip club or something. LoL. Can someone make up a better name. If it's a stupid idea just let me know.

i guess to each their own, personally, i don't understand the whole, lets make my car look like something its not, but if you like it thats all that really matters, i just don't share the same opinion as the rest of the people in this thread do. but i love diy stuff so i'll give you props on the courage to do it.

thanks. I like that my car looks like an evo.

Honestly. The evo front looks better than a cobalt. So it's a mix of the two

it is growing on me a bit, i just have this pre concieve notion about looking like other cars i try to be as diff as possible, i seen a cobalt once with mustang strips down the sides of it of course the odvious mustang was replace with a cobalt but it was literally stolen idea yanno... i will say it does look good, just not my personal style.
