got my ss/sc spoiler!!

i can finally take off this ugly ass low spoiler. im so excited to put this on haha.. now im a real ss/sc.. i took a couple pics. only problem is, the color output is not right.. its supposed to be sport red tintcoat but my camera captured like a bright red color.. i dont know. and the last thing, if anyone wants a good quality spoiler for a decently cheap price, look on ebay, the sellers name is thespoilercompany. it only took one week to get here and they even painted it. it costed me 230 dollars shipped. painted also. this spoiler is very good quality and the paint job is awesome. i coudnt be happier with my purchase.. well onto the pics : )

do you have to add the bolts yourself or are they just not showing up in the pics?

Don't they use the same bolts as the stock spoiler? I mean, the mounting points are in the same position (part of the reason why they designed the SS/SC spoiler the way they did) so just use the bolts from your low pro and you should be fine.

i dunno what your going to do man
take it to a body shop and ask, cause i removed my wing and fucked up 2 of the bolts and now they arent there, and i think your going to have to have someone fiber glass them in..

cause the 3m sticky **** may not be enough to hold it down

i actually looked at the spoiler again. on the oem spoilers, they have the bolts fastened to the spoiler themselves. this aftermarket one came with 4 bolts so i just have to put the spoiler on and bolt it on from under the trunk. i got scared for a minute though lol

well.. i might as well let you guys know. i was putting my spoiler in the trunk so i figured i would see if the paint matches.. well guess what, it doesnt.. not even close. im not too happy about this but oh well i guess. the paint they used on the spoiler ddnt have metallic flake in it and it looked a little brighter than my color.. im just gonna have to get it painted now. this sucks

Never buy them painted. Buy them just primed because they cant match the car color perfect when they cant see your car. I took mine to my friends dads body shop and he made it look like it came with the car. He has a machine that mixes all the paint color that made my color. Im getting him to put eyelids on my headlight this spring

you can buy the paint either from GM or usually from Duplicolor, exact color match to your car.
custom mixing it only makes sense if your color has faded a bit

The slope of the rear window sucks for vision any time whether that honkin spoiler is back there or nothing is back there at all. I never use my rear view mirror unless someone is sitting in the back and I want to look at them. That's why they make side mirrors for.

but it would help vision wise after you get lowered with lets say sportlines right? i know the drop in the rear is more than in the front so it balances tthe car out.. you can tell stock that the rear is higher than the front.

I'm used to the wing blocking my view now. Not a huge deal.

Nice stains! lol
