First time you ever had anything powder coated? It gets addicting .

We have a place here in omaha that has an oven big enough to wheel a full car in it... they can powder anything for a price.

I ordered the cover piece from DDMWorks a while back.

And yes this is the first powdercoat job. Not much else I can really get done though.

That makes me want to get mine powdercoated. I spray painted mine and it scratches up if you look at it wrong.

I didn't do it myself, I had a local shop powdercoat it for 85 bucks CDN. The color is damn near spot on, which makes me even happier cause sport red is a bitch to match.

is that the gmpp intake, or is that custom made. i was wondering why the intake seals to the hood. the valve cover looks good.

The thing on the fusebox is the electronic rust protection. The intake is the GMPP, you'll have to ask GM why it seals to the hood, but it doesn't matter much with me since I removed the lower part of the intake anyway.
