Grill

Alright guys, i think the stock grill for our cobalts are pretty gay, where can i get like a mesh grill or something? any ideas? Also will the SS/SC front/back lips fit on 2.4?

yes they do, but you don't have the holes for the clips on your bumper

make your own grill is the only way for mesh. It's pretty easyu and self explainatory. Did mine back in april or somethin like that

where did you get the mesh from? and how much was it? how much did you have to get? measured by sqaure feet?? i would like to do this for my black ss/sc

Honestly, Lowe's or Home Depot. Get a pack of gutter guard. Looks and is 99.9% the same as "performance" mesh you get a Autozone. One pack has 6-8 sheets and runs a whole $8. That will be enough to do your grill, upper and lower, and a friends.

how did you go about installing this? did you use adhesive, etc.? could you maybe post some pictures of the inside or how you mounted it? that would be great! thanks!

I always wanted to see what the grill would look like with no middle bar and just the mesh. I think that would look really cool.

That would require a decent bit of custom bold molding of the front bumper and strengthening of the grill. That center bar is a big support for the integrity of the grill and the body colored bar is part of the bumper.

I realize this haha. I just thought it would look cool without it. I do like your grill thought. I think I may try that in the spring.
